Claude Monet

1840–1926

Claude Monet was a founder of French Impressionism, known for his devotion to light, atmosphere, and the fleeting qualities of nature. His work often captured water, gardens, and reflections in a way that felt immersive rather than literal.

Lillies is inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies and his study of surface and reflection, translating his palette and softness into fabric rather than imagery. Muted blues and subtle tonal shifts shape the color story, while layered fabric and abstracted lily forms create depth. A blue power mesh base allows the body to show through slightly, echoing the transparency of water.
